Defeatist?...What ARE you talking about? I have always said we will walk in there unopposed...And we DO need it. Any thinking person can understand that oil is way to important to the world economy to allow it to remain in the hands of countries still living in the 19th century.. It's clear that you have an investment strategy that depends on world wide recession... Nontheless most Americans lives will be devastated if we allow oil to remain in the 40 dollar range for any length of time.
