It was on local news, CNN, FOX etc. Did ANYBODY here hear that statement? During the period between 9/11/01 and last summer, I watched roughly five hours of news per day on Fox News, MSNBC, CNBC, and CNN, and I never heard it anyplace other than from you. >The article I posted was published by A very well respected source of information in Washington.. Yeah... a very well respected source of information in Washington which keeps on their front page a counter of U.S. aid given to Israel.... the site contains absolutely NOTHING other than anti-Israel propaganda. >As Far as the IAP being closed down by the FEDS here's today's HEADLINES (hmmm don't seem to be closed down)... It runs out of England now. They're part of the Holy Land Foundation (closed down in Texas for being a front for Hamas). >Then tell me how many BILLIONS we get from Israel? How many BILLIONS do we get from any other country? It's the way things are. We're the most powerful and wealthiest country, and we give out foreign aid... we give Israel foreign aid because they've got 20-odd countries surrounding them that would like to wipe them off of the map. Tell me how many American non-Jews have dual citizenship with Israel and a permitted to vote in their elections? >Tell me how many Jews reside in Israel and vote in our USA elections? (Shrugs)- a couple hundred thousand? Thus is the nature of dual citizenship... there are tons of others in other countries who do the same. The number in Israel is surely a bit high, with so many Jews flocking there over the course of 50 years, but so what? >Tell me why Israel tells the immigrant Jews from Russia and other countries to go to the USA first and become citizens and then go back to Israel and receive Social Security Retirement benefits without ever having had to pay into the system? Since when? How much sense would that make? Israel's trying to get as many Jews to move to Israel from Russia as quickly as possible to solve the demographic problem ASAP. It's posing a major issue there, because a lot of the people they're accepting aren't considered Jews in the Orthodox sense. Would it make sense that they would send people to the U.S. for a number of years first? I've never, ever heard of that. >I wear no hood. I only speak what I know to be true. I admire the Jews for what they have been able to get from the USA. I don't like it, but you sure have to admire them for how they accomplished this. If you want to bury your head in the sand... OK with me. If you're a Jew then you know what I am saying is true. If you are not... then shame on you... do a little homework. Well, for the sake of full disclosure, half of my family is Catholic (Polish, hence the "Silent Z"), and the other is Jewish, and as I've said a zillion times, I'm an atheist. And to be honest, the Catholic side of my family has done a lot better monetarily than the Jewish side. So, I guess I'm someone on the "inside," and having spent lots of time in the Jewish community in my area, while I'm always a bit disenchanted with the sillinesses inherent in Judaism and all other religions, I find them to be perfectly nice people, and I don't know an inordinate amount with anything resembling sinister government contacts or anything like that. The Jews I know who are wealthy have made livings by being doctors, or professors, or lawyers, or shop owners, or whatever... so what? -Z (who can't believe he's having this conversation)
