Earlier "assistance" by the CIA helped put in power a dictator whose chief assistant, a youngster at the time, happened to be named Saddam Hussein.

A later "assistance" in the form of encouragement for revolt against the said dictator, and subsequent abandoning of the revolted populace, led to their slaughter.
