You should know better, but I have a different take. I think the market decided it doesn't matter much. US still needs Trukey for some air rights, some post Saddam work, and a lot of other things which are not related to Iraq. So based on the info you gave, my guess is that market has concluded this is as bad as it gets for Turkey and there is still a chance that it will get much better.

Sounds like a good plan. At this point I think a US attack on Iraq may actually cause a [US] market rally. I am not sure how that would effect your scenario.
