Well, I think the freedom fry thing is more typical of stuff that should go on a late nite talk show than in Congress. Having said that, do you think it will get much beyond french fries? It's really kind of stupid since french fries may well be from Belgium and not France? It may be popular to poke at the French and Germans while they call our President names - but it's not good politics. Definitely, not good politics but we're talking about patriotism, not politics....and with patriotism anything goes. ted
