Interesting article with some good points. It's unfortunate he left out the weaknesses of the european cultures, such as the entitlement mindset, the rigid class structure that thrives even today and which thwarts creativity and economic growth. If there is less poverty in europe, it's because there's a lot less wealth as well. There simply not an entrepenerial spirit in most European countires; rather, it's "govt as mommy who will take care of us. " And did he mention the Europeans' establishment and mantenance of apartheid in S Africa? Maybe I missed that part of his essay.
