Present inhabitant of the WH is working hard in that direction. The economic policy is doing wonders for that trip. And, I have it on good authority, they are, even as we type, laboring hard to bring the foreign policy around to those lofty aims.

Double-digit inflation, double-digit interest rates, and hunkering down impotently in your office for months while American citizens are held hostage overseas will all have to come back in style.

Greatness is never properly recognized and appreciated in its own time.

Nor are war debts recognized and attributed to their proper time.
