I think they just don't want any of there mistakes to be witnessed- but tough sh*t- that's what democracy is about. Mistakes get to see the light of day- it's those nasty old commie systems and dictatorships that hide the mistakes under the carpet, or it used to be. I guess we're heading that way as well. "They don't want witnesses. The information-control game is all about keeping people back home uninformed so they don't question the policy. And the first thing to make you question a policy is casualties."

I have heard it mentioned that maybe that story about Saddam buying GI uniforms was a set up to explain away anything ugly that might get reported. Who knows, but with the way this administration has been acting..............it's certainly a possibility.

You are learning from Master Noam well, grasshopper. Don't wait till something happens to condemn America for war crimes! Just charge that they intend to! That was reminiscent of how Chomsky himself condemned America for purposely "planning" to starve to death millions of Afghans before the US removed the Taliban. Hmm. America makes preparations to remove a horribly tyrannical government hostile to us and our interests. Left-wingers howl with outrage about the inhuman holocaust America is planning... which somehow fails to materialize and the tyrrannical government is removed. I see a pattern. When the left raises a hue and cry and starts making wild charges, looks like you can expect something good to happen.
