Actually, the Bush road map will be handed over to Sharon and it will be implemented according to Sharon's guidelines. Hamas has been the "large minority", but the leaders of Hamas and many foot soldiers will be killed off if they continue their violence. I think all the Palestinians and the Arab countries will come around to the idea that violence will cost them permanently. Many realize that violence has been a failure, but they still think that they will be rescued by the Gang of Four and the road map. It looks like the attack on Iraq will come in the next two weeks. I hope it will be the success all the talking heads are advertising. I don't understand how Americans can accept war as anything but the last option. I think the whole world should sing the Marseillaise. The French get it. In any case, the attack will be a shock to the region. It will set a precedent for the level of violence Israel will employ in response to Palestinian violence. I hope that the Egyptians will finally succeed in their efforts to get a Palestinian cease fire.
