Why, then, are the US not living happy with pixelated money and are, instead, in the desert ready to fight for a commodity, physical stuff, Jay has missed this one to advance his case.

I can see India, importing jobs and using high tech, spcace independent economy to advance its case. If we compare this with the US fight for oil and physical occupation of territory, then I can conclude that India, not the US is on 2001 Space Odissey pace. The US is in Genghis Khan time.

By the way an Indian scientist programmed the successor of HAL in the sequel "2010, Space Odissey".
