Hi Russ,

Agreed, IMR has had a poor history of "following through", and before buying in last week, I sought-out second opinions from folks more knowledgeable than I. Following their Peru program the past two years sort of soured me on them. However, they may have stumbled on something that attracts the "A" to them. Definitely, I will take profits during the coming run-up and mainly let the winnings ride, but if this Navidad is what IMR claims (and I don't have reason to believe they are untruthful), I want to be in on it early.

Keep in mind that drilling holes isn't all the answer to what is in the prospect. Where outcrops are good, ground mapping and outcrop sampling is 75% of the story (thoroughly understanding 2 of the three dimensions of a deposit). IMR has good properties, because they get this part right (at least, judging from my admittedly distant perch).

Candente is clearly well-promoted, but I think there is some merit in their properties, so that overcomes the off-putting sales job IMO. I mean, you could have said the same thing about NRI two years ago and avoided it, and in the process missed-out on a 10-bagger.

But like you suggest, no "A", no story. I'm giving the benefit of the doubt to IMR and DNT, for now. But, my trigger finger is ready to hit the sell button if I get a bad whiff of stasis or undeserved self-preservation.

Regards,

crusty
