<Without intending to do so, in fact the contrary, the Bush government has furthered the cause of peace, democracy and the rule of law throughout the world in a way and to an extent that could not have been previously imagined. Whether there is to be a war or there isn't this Iraq "crisis" has been a transforming moment in world history.> Beautifully stated. Bravo. And by no means is it crap. When humanity is put to the test, the higher values will prevail. A song by Solomon Burke , "Non of Us Are Free" has been wandering through my mind from time to time for some time, which has the line "As long one of us is chained, non of us are free". I can't totally explain why, but I think it has for the most part, to do with the tyranny that the current Tyrants are trying to impose on us ALL in one form or another.
