And it truly is a good lawnmower cum fertilizer producer. Requires no gas or electricity to operate. Also tastes good on a barbeque.

I have to tell you, however, that the local by-laws don't allow for people to keep livestock in their yards and there's a very good reason for it. When the indigenous people have a celebration, eg wedding or funeral, their custom is to slaughter a sheep or ox where they live. Even those who live in upmarket suburbs do this. So, after the new government took over, it was quite common so see or hear of animals being slaughtered in the streets of Johannesburg until the authorities put a stop to it. Can you imagine what would be going on if the folks were able to rear animals in their yards and then butcher them right there?!
