Anybody know what the range is for "low","avg","high" volume these days?

Last week on the radio I heard the naz was up on heavy volume. We used to have 4 billion share days on the naz, so by my estimation nothing these days is heavy volume, it is all incredibly light at least with individual issues (QQQ probably trades more than it did a few years ago).
