llmarinen, Yes, the tribalism genes are strong and form gangs in various places where there is a concentration. Most gang formation can be laid to the feet of police/fire and teacher unions. They have kept on strking and the politicians have given in and their wages have increased at about 2.5% above inflation for the last 30 years or so. As a result they are hugely over paid, and this means less teachers in the halls and yards at schools and fewer police in the streets at night. More gangs and more arson. Malthusian laws at work on money. Unless some stiffer politicians come along many many cities will be destroyed, like Newark and Buffalo where people move away and abandon houses and business due to high taxes for police and teachers, where is does not buy more police/teachers/firemen, but less and less every year. What happens is the old people stay and the young leave and it all decays. Bill
