In what may be the most disrespectful and despicable act since the start of the anti-war movement months ago, anti-war protesters ravaged a 9-11 memorial that is along a privately owned fence, and meticulously maintained by citizens of Whittier, California. In addition to destroying the 9-11 memorial, protesters also ripped apart and burning dozens of flags, and glued a Bob Dylan antiwar anthem to a sign that said, "America, land of the brave, home of the free." Anti-War Protesters destroy 9-11 Memorial "It's unbelievable," said Tracey Chandler, a Whittier mother of four who helped maintain the memorial.
