yeah totally agree.

Actually I'm not in favor of much in the way of any controlling body limiting what people make. You know, I'm the one on the side of the players in the baseball strike<g>. Free enterprise and all.

I just think this options exercise smacks of a backlash, where these things are being overtaxed as a way of dealing with corporate governance. That being the case, whoever is in charge is going about it wrong. Thats my only point.

The folks in favor of expensing stock options always had the ability to walk on over to Berkshire Hathaway and leave Cisco and other companies that need options to thrive, alone. That would have been the best solution imo. Not allow the beancounters to destroy these companies.
