There are Producers for each aspect of production, and they have special skills and talents that add to the creative facets of the project... the Executive Producer is also part of that creative/management team, but is more involved with the business side of the studio... it's true that the Executive Producer is the main man on campus, but as EP it would be foolish to interfere with what the other Producers are doing since they have those special skills and talents to do their own jobs...
