No brainer.... And big mistake on their part.. But Turkey is a democracy (young it may be), so that's okay...

The importance of meeting in the Azores is to emphasize the fact that Europe represents more than just France and Germany... Spain and Portugal are behind US actions, if only to counter the domination of the EU by France and Germany.
