Yes if Bush invades Iraq, terrorism will probably soar.
So what is your point? There are Iraqi agents under our beds? I sincerely doubt that escalations in terrorism will come from the Iraqis. They have enough problems back home. So far anyway they have not exported terrorism the way Khaddafi and Al Qaida have. Could this change? Perhaps, but probably only if we attack unilaterally. If we had the whole UN behind us, terrorism would be minimized.

The taking of Iraq might be the "easy" part. Everyone knows the US can beat Iraq easily. But the war will not be won if we come out of this with a shattered national image. And the true price of this war will be much higher than the cash dollars it costs.

That said, much can be quickly healed with a new president in 2004. Bush is not America, not even close. Bush is just a front-man for some right-wing special interests most of the world doesn't like. In the end, Americans will see that and judge Bush on his record, which is more destructive than constructive.
