Read the Pentagon Papers and educate yourself. The patriotic thing to do in 1972 was end that war that was killing our young people, demoralizing our nation, ruining our national image and slaughtering foe and civilians alike, all in the same of a big lie. It took us ten years to even start recovering from that debacle. It was a truly painful period capped by Watergate and the corruption it exposed at the top.

Dont try the right-wing revisionist history on us now. America makes big mistakes sometimes when it gets arrogant and special interests are in charge (as they are again now). Vietnam was a doozy. John Kerry was one of that war's heros who stood up for the truth to save his brothers' lives. He volunteered and took bullets. Saved lives in the bush and back home. Bush stayed home, drank, partied and went AWOL. Have some respect for the courageous and see through the cads.
