I have to wonder just how important it is to the Mexican people to vote without effect against the US on Iraq in a war they are not going to pay for or be involved in and will consequentially draw the ire of the US for a for a generation or more. A year from now Saddam is going to be history, but Mexico will live with its decision for a long long time.

You Bushies dont get it, why the world hates/distrusts Bush. I see it very clearly. Let me explain.

Bush is an illegitimate president (cheated in Florida and with the phony energy crisis), long-time front-man for oil and other corporate party interests, got to where he is on daddy's coat-tails, lied during his campaign and contrinues to lie, broke many campaign promises especially on the environment, walked away from Kyoto which was very important to our allies, didn't even try to negotiate just said "my way of the highway", shoved SDI down peoples throats, ignored terrorism prior to 9-11, gave up on peace in Israel, made enemies of everyone except a few like Tony Blair who tried to get along with him, got a huge lift from 9-11 (the best thing that ever happened to Bush), had the world behind us for Afghanistan, then blew all his political capital and credibility on Iraq simply because he needed a war to divert attention from his economy prior to november election.

Everything else since has been a huge waste of time. And it's kept the world economy paralyzed or worse. Bush's arrogance and narrow-mindedness has made most countries just want to wait 2 years before dealing with the US again.

Part of Bush's problem is he's really not qualified to be president, so the Cheney-Rove-Wolfowitz-Pearle-Rumsfield types are really running things, and they are far right wing disinformation specialists with cold-cold hearts. Even Pat Buchanon representing traditional conservatives now loathes that group. If we'd been able to see Cheney's energy papers we'd have a clearer undertanding of just how conspiring they are.
