Condor - One of the things you have to understand with OPEC and with Venezuela is that they all have an agenda. Chavez is working to break the strikers moral and to convince the public that everything is "normal". The opposition to Chavez communicates several times a week production data that is much different than the Official data. If you understand what has happened in VZ (asset destruction) and understand the US import data, you will realize that the opposition has been close to the truth and Chavez has been lying all along. OPEC nations must state higher production capabilities than reality all the time as they struggle for share with the OPEC quota allowances. The USA is heading for a major problem with gasoline as we speak. This has all to do with the production lost from VZ. Once the war starts and Iraqi and some Kuwaiti production is lost, we will have a long Summer short on gas. The country is a record low levels for gasoline, heating oil, crude oil and natural gas. Canada is at record low levels of natural has as well. Expect electric prices to explode this Summer as well.
