John - From an investment angle you should visit another site I frequent Big Dogs Boom Boom Room. Energy and its impact on our national interests and foreign policy has me completely enthralled.

I try to post here my comments on how energy impacts our our national interests and our foreign affairs.

China and Japan are consuming large quantities of oil. Japan because of they have been forced to shutdown many nuke plants and China because it is growing very rapidly. The USA consumes more oil almost every year.

As each human trades in their bicycle for a motor cycle or motor cycle for an automobile, the demand for fuel increases. Their are billions of people whose family will get their first electric consuming devices as well and or will increase their electric use.

The demand for oil in inexorably growing as supply becomes more scarce and concentrated in the ME. This will be an increasingly dominant factor in our foreign policy for decades.
