Some boards and some posters don't want political statements such as yours. They are blind and somehow don't see the connection between politics and economics. Your summary is excellent; you might also add that it is drunken folly to back a recent rearrival in the middle east against those who have been there on the same territory for 15 centuries. ( The recent rearrivers are the Israelis who get the kind of devotion from Bush that the Afghans can only dream of.) Seeing the political situation how can anybody in their right mind invest in the U.S. market? Jay's penchant for gold seems right on to me. LOL everybody; stay away from drunk drivers.
