The real threats to America require cooperation, not war.
chron.com

The growing list of countries reporting cases of the illness include China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. Most cases involve medical workers.

Doctors do not know what causes the illness -- even whether it is a bacteria or virus.

WHO spokesman Dick Thompson said in Geneva, "Until we can get a grip on it, I don't see how it will slow down. People are not responding to antibiotics or antivirals. It's a highly contagious disease and it's moving around by jet. It's bad."

Junior is setting up the perfect breeding ground in North Korea. This unknown organism may be just a small adaptation away from killing millions. The more that Junior pisses off people around the world, and reduces cooperation, the more dangerous it becomes here at home. We should all give a moment of thanks to the French for discovering the HIV virus when it was still just a mysterious disease.

America is great but Bush is not. That's the problem now.
And if you're the biggest and richest you dont win popularity contests boasting about it. Other countries dont like to hear us bragging about ourselves. It just shows inner insecurity. No wonder McDonalds is having a bad year. The right-wing talks about boycotting France but all around the world they could be boycotting us back. Bush's "we dont need you" attitude works both ways, and cripples the world economy.

AS's threat to shoot the president doesn't even draw a 1-week suspension from SI?

Message 18536856

The coddling of the anti-American left will keep damaging the republic unless our diligence improves.

What happens in the near future when AS has to face the reality that Bush's second term is guaranteed, and that the Democrat's propaganda that they got beat in 2002 "because we didn't get our message out" becomes clear to the left that it was just a Clintonesque lie to placate them?

AS, faced with the reality of the total rejection of his/her anti-American side's position, may not be satisfied with just reciting long-debunked drivel on a massage board...
