>>U.S. will lose its major western allies<<
This is the weakest of all the arguments. Western Europe & Russian need us much more than we need them. Their economies are smaller, slowing, losing population & massively dependent on the US consumer.

>>U.S. will lose all Arab allies<<
Like who? the Saudis who funded 9-11? The Egyptians who use our handouts to promote anti Americanism in the state run newspapers? Gimme a break. That is the point. These countries have to change.

The Nuclear threat? I guess you can make this argument about every war. I don't think Bush wants to go nuclear. He wants the oil, remember?

>>Expenses<<
Agreed-A major concern.

Terrorism-Agreed is also a major concern, but in the longrun A Democratic Iraq will lead to less terrorism.

Domestic unrest is only a factor if the war goes badly.

US lives will be lost, but I believe far more US lives will be lost down the road if we do not stand up to repulsive dictators who seek WMDs.

I am hoping Iraqi loss of life will be kept down. Lives are lost in both just & unjust wars. If you don't believe this war is just, then It's tough to argue with you. However, if you believe a war is just then you might allow for innocent loss of life.
