FL - One input for the production of electricity is natural gas. It is a key price factor for generating Summer season cooling demand electricity.

We are in deep trouble with NG supplies, so expect plenty of company suffering this Summer with high prices.

California is particularly exposed to NG prices because of the amount of generation it has that uses NG.

California has too many Politicians to pay off. Get rid of the whole lot.

((Expect electric prices to explode this Summer as well.

Welcome to my world...))

Back in '94 we were using only power from a nuke plant and it cost us 12.35 cents per kwh. Our co-op has been buying it's way out of the nuclear contracts and joining with coal fired co-ops. Last year we were paying 9.66 cents per kwh. When our new plant that the co-op is building on a coal field we own our cost should drop to 6 cents per kwh.
