thats because they already finished the outsourcing dump of R&D to india. It would be very strange behavior for companies to voluntarily report a "phanotom expense" to shareholders if they believed that expense was not real, yet we have over 150 S&P companies that have already volunteered to do so. Look under "Latest S&P Research": www2.standardandpoors.com Instead you have to bring everybody down. I am afraid that your continued advocacy of cooking the books could result in some companies being mismanaged and bringing themselves down. The best thing that can happen for our public markets is for companies to recognize this expense now and get on with the business of managing companies for long term shareholder value. Regards, Huey
