You are really going to piss them off, if you keep holding up that mirror. Their self-image is that NeoCons are the global champions of Civilization, raising the Battle Flag of Freedom, and leading the charge into the heartland of Evil. I think it is going to take some major defeat for them, before they are willing to look in that mirror, and see themselves the way the rest of the world sees them. Until then, they will just show Resolve and Vigor, and charge straight ahead. It's going to be a long war.

Tell me how much time you have spent living with the middle easterners to come to such conclusion?


I believe the people like Bernie Lewis, Daniel Pipes, et al, who have studied and spent time there. I render judgements on a lot of places and people I have not spent years living among by reading about them, and so do you. You are pissed that we are liberating Iraq. I am happy we are doing so.
