I'm sure you can understand that the liberals were all running around in a panic before the Gulf War, telling us about tens of thousands of Americans coming home in body bags. The war was over in 36 days or whatever. First, I'm sure there were conservatives "running around" then, just as there are conservatives against the war now. Secondly, once again you are implying that liberals are some how intellectually inferior to conservatives. If that were true, Clinton would have committed in his first two years as many major foreign policy gaffes as Bush. Thirdly, you use the term liberal like others use the term nigger. Its offensive, just as abrasive and just as ineffectual. So if you're posting in the hopes of providing a positive presentation of conservative goals and values, you are failing miserably. Just relax and let the people who know what's going on drive the bus. I saw a funny political cartoon this past week. It showed a couple in bed just after having watched Bush give his recent speech on tv re. Iraq. Over the women was the coversation bubble: "Everything is okay, everything is okay, everything is ok......." Over the guy: "He knows what he's doing, he knows what he's doing, he knows what he's doing.........." The point is is that the average person doesn't know if Bush knows what he's doing. Their doubt is reinforced by all the recent mistakes made by this administration and the undermining of some of their Iraq accusations. So, if people are a little panicked, its understandable. War is a very dangersous event and this is not an administration that invokes a great deal of confidence in spite of the fact you think it should. ted
