Were we (thread, collectively) tipping the move in summer 2001 as a bull flag too at the time? (until it broke downwards of course)

Its a good chart. I would note that Smelly's flag looks a little steep for me.

What's important here is that the strong move off the Oct lows might have ended a major phase in the tech bear (non-tech has more pain coming IMO). It means we are possibly within a 'b' wave in the larger 'B' and there is no hint of a major trend developing either way. We could just as easily drift right back down to the Oct lows as break up from the flag IMO.
