Kerry came home and called the government that kept him alive in Vietnam, then brought him safely home, "criminals". He called them that on television. He thus forfeited, permanently, any right to consideration for public office. The REAL America will never forget his treachery, which is WHAT and WHO he is.

He is an anti-American traitor and a cheap political opportunist. The other Democrat presidential candidates will ride these circumstances-before the Bush team has to point them out...

Kerry is the new leader of the Democratic party. Kennedy is a man largely of the past and has receded into the background. Kerry doesn't care what Kennedy thinks these days, and for you to suggest such a thing is rubbish. Kennedy is under Kerrry's shadow now, not the other way around. Kerry has split with Kennedy on many important issues, though they continue to agree on some as well. Nothing wrong with that.
