PT, I am raging about the accusations that US foreign policy is controlled by rightwing Jews. Are you in this camp as well?

Whatever you think of this war & there are good reasons to oppose it, blaming it on the Jews is a massive error.

I have said many times that Bush is inept, that I don't agree with all of his reasons for going to war, but I do believe in a Democracy in the region. I do believe in standing up to a brutal dictator who wants WMDs(whether he has them or not at the moment). I do believe that the Arab culture of poverty, repression, militant Islam, must stop.

If I'm wrong & we cannot create a Democracy, then I'm very wrong. Doing nothing was Carter's answer & it lead to 9-11.

Most of your arguments are good. Our crux of disagreement is I believe there are just ends which may or may not be Bush's motives.

Perhaps you dont want to consider the Iraqi people who escaped Iraq asking to liberate the country. How long do you think an Iraqi would last walking around in Bagdad asking for liberation?

How many hours do you think the typical Iraqi would last if his kid said something bad about Saddam in school?
