i wonder what price Bush is really willing to pay for war.
He probably is figuring that maybe 100 US troops will die in Iraq (no doubt mostly by friendly fire and accidents). If it were projected that 1,000 troops would die, would he be so Gung-Ho? 10,000? 50,000?

Aside: I was watching some WWII stuff on the history channel recently. I can not believe how many Soviets died (about 25 million people). Holy shit, we COULD NOT EVEN COMPREHEND losses 1/25 as great as those.
