On Key Votes, Kerry Voted 100% Of The Time With Senator Kennedy In 2001, 1999, 1998, 1993, 1992, 1989, 1988, 1987, 1986, and 1985. Over the course of his Senate career, Kerry has sided with Senator Kennedy 94% of the time for key votes. (Roll Call Key Votes, oncongress.cq.com, December 2001)

proof Kerry is 20% less liberal than Kennedy

Actually 15%, but why be precise. During 2001, the ADA gave Kennedy at 100% rating, Kerry a 95% rating and McCain a 40% rating. McCain is tacking to the right faster then Kerry. Presidential candidates always tack to the center.

I don't know why you disparage Kennedy. You may think that he "...is a drinker, womanize and might even killed a woman and gotten away with it", but the reality is that he has been one of the most powerful forces in the Senate for over 30 years.
