I take the Joe six pack any day over power hungry politicians. I disagree with the view about war that Goering presented. His view is based on his ideological beliefs that people are nothing but tools in the hands of the leaders and must not be anything but that. To be sure most people are easy to manipulate. However, there have been many times in history that people have chosen to take arms for ideals they have believed in. If Bush's case was just, he would not be having as hard of a time convincing people of it. As for your point about Jesus, please note that this guy tried hard to kill and eat the fish.
