Yeah, but are you willing to pay for it? It costs many billions to keep those troops and all that equipment over there. And the UN isn't paying one thin dime.

And, if Saddam is left in power, what? Keep the US Army parked there until he, and quite likely his son and successor Uday, are dead?

Somewhere in here it makes more sense to go in and settle matters.

Good point! Keep up the pressure......I can live with that.

Nobody gives a sh*t whether YOU can live with it. The question is can 200k troops in the Gulf live with it?

This kind of pressure can be applied for a brief period of time. If it doesn't lead to a capitulation then it is necessary to remove Saddam by force. That's where we are.
