I'm for whatever makes us the most secure and makes our country economically and morally sound. If the President thinks that a war is the only way this can be accomplised then so be it. I could give a rat's ass about the UN, who obviously has no backbone to enforce its own resolutions. I don't no why we even bother with them at all. And in addition, to all you doves out there who want more time for inspections or whatever, do you really think that is going to work?!? Is Saddum going to relent because we've whined and complained for a few more months? I mean does this guy even have the capability for diplomacy? And one last comment does anyone know how many civilians were killed in the last Gulf War--I do it's 3500, that's right 3500 civilians were sacrificed. Do you doves have any idea how many people die or live in squalor because of the economic sanctions we have imposed on Iraq? I have a feeling it is exponetially larger than 3500. Iraq should be one of if not the wealthiest nations in the middle east, instead it is one of the most impoverished states in the region. How can you doves justify this compleatly uneccessary wasting of human lives? What logical argument supports your pacifism? I just don't get it! War is hell and should always be used as a last resort, and now we have no other choice. I pray that this war will be quick, relatively bloodless and ultimately good for the Iraqi people,
