"The Pianist" This movie has been highly publicised, has several oscar nominations, surprisingly it's been hard to find at my local (even megaplex) theatres, had to drive several towns away. Maybe the R rating and some other baggage has kept this in a relatively few theatres. It is a brutal & sobering look at the plight of the Jews in Poland from 1939 to 1945. It is well deserving of it's oscar nominations. At this point in history, this is a must see movie for every world citizen.
