Something like 100,000 of the American troops who fought in the last Gulf War have Gulf War Syndrome. But the right doesn't care, in fact they want any compensation to those men blocked. Those combatants have had to fight to get this malady acknowledged. What our troops are walking into at this juncture is worse. Whatever Saddam has left combined with whatever the US will be dropping on Iraq will create a new syndrome. I certainly hope that the faulty gas masks issued to the combatants have been replaced. People on the right seem to view these soldiers as dispensable and their death and disease part of the job. If they're going to go to war, they should all have the best equipment possible.
