Interesting. The reply, when it comes, will probably be "Demolib pinhead" or another equally intellectual analysis.

Most likely.

I originally turned to the CIA world facts just as a sanity check on the 65,000 claim. I was stunned at what I found.

It seems difficult to justify a "humanitarian" cause based on what information the CIA has presented.

Here's another good one....despite the fact that the Iraq/Niger documents were shown to be forged and the UN has said there is absolutely no evidence that Iraq has reconstituted it's nuclear weapons progam...we have this

Far from envisioning a peaceful solution, Cheney leveled a serious new allegation that implied Hussein already has nuclear weapons. "We know he's been absolutely devoted to trying to acquire nuclear weapons, and we believe he has, in fact, reconstituted nuclear weapons," Cheney said.

Hate to leave Bush out of the blatant lying....

Asked today whether the vote would be canceled, Bush said with obvious irritation: "I was the guy that said they ought to vote. One country voted -- showed their cards, I believe -- it's an old Texas expression -- show your cards, when you're playing poker. France showed their cards. . . . They said they are going to veto anything that held Saddam to account. So cards have been played."

French President Jacques Chirac said this morning that he was willing to shorten to 30 days a deadline of 120 days his government had suggested several weeks ago for continued inspections. But French officials have said their nonnegotiable demand is that they will not support an "automatic" invasion, and they insist the council would have to meet again if Iraq failed "benchmark" tests.
