Pressure from home and abroad. It would have been so much easier for Blair to ignore Saddam's evil empire, and just work on getting re-elected. England is a remarkable country. They were one of the few countries that was able to defend itself, from Hitler's brutal attacks, even though they paid a tremendous price for their freedom. Long after America brings freedom and democracy to Iraq, we will long remember our friends in England.
