Where has the US press reported anything other than the fact that 15 of the 19 hijackers were Saudi?

The haven't..that's the beauty of it....and the Bush Administration [or any conservatives that I know] haven't said it either. What the Administration has done: every time they mention 9/11 they mention Saddam and after enough repetition 44% of the American people actually believe they were part of the hijackers. The power of suggestion and repetition.
