It is a reliable figure

Got link?

Or do we have to take your word for it being "reliable"?

1. The number (65,000)has been cited by those who oppose the war and the sanctions against Iraq. It is a reliable figure and if anything, probably understated...

And they're wrong too. The real numbers don't support either case. They can't. If you compute how many deaths occurred in 1992 based on the death rate and then subtract the 65,000 cited deaths; recompute the deate rate/1,000 without those numbers....you end up with a death rate/1,000 that is absurd.
