I agree, but then again, look at the forces and equipment that have been moved into the theatre since that time.

A big regret is Turkey, and the equipment sitting there not being able to be used.

I don't think we were ready to go into Iraq six months ago. Most of the troops have been deployed since the New Year. If anything, the extra training and time spent analyzing Iraq over the past 6 months might keep the casualties down.
