Leslie:

I don't really read the times unless I'm on the train into NY.

All I know from my little space is France and Chirac voted for the resolution back in November and knew the path this was leading to if Sadamn did not cooperate. Sadamn has not been cooperating, except a little bit to win public opinion. IF France voted against the resolution in November it would have been different.

Hey I can be totally wrong. Maybe Sadamn doesn't have WMD and has been in full compliance. Of course the odds on this are slim (not none just slim).

IF and I do mean IF France did not provide Sadamn with support in the UN the pressure would have been extreme for Sadamn to give up the ship. This would have been two months ago and every day our troups stay in the dessert the more the elements favor Sadamn.

So I will boycott French goods.
