Its not my responsibility to decide Sanctions. Saddam knew what the ramifications were, he knew how to get the sanctions lifted and did nothing. And don't blast my level of empathy as if you have some corner on the market as concern for others apply. It's a shame that his people had to suffer but they did so at his hands.

<< Well, some of us empathize a bit more for others' suffering. >>

What a crock of shit! Of all people, you? You empathize with others' suffering, but you don't want to free the Iraqis from Saddam's brutal rule?

Ahhhh yes! Saddam is not responsible for his people's misery because he isn't allowed to import vitamins for them, (although he could get vitamins if he wouldn't rather illegally import materials for biological and chemical weapons).

Zonder, what other excuses do you make for Saddam?
