This war is all about the wealthy elites wanting to gain hold of the 2nd biggest oil reserves (and cheapest to get out of the ground) in the world. That is why it is going forward regardless of what Saddam does or does not do. It's like a kid in a candystore, they just can't resist all of that oil. Any independent observer (say a Martian) would easily identify the country that poses a threat from WMD: North Korea. It's a no brainer!
