I don't believe so.. There were some on "stand by" back in January, but I don't believe they were ever deployed.

And even during Desert Storm, most of the combat troops provided were French Foreign Legion, technically not French, but mercenaries. And although involved in some battles, they apparently were limited since they suffered no casualties. They were primarily used as a screening force to guard the left flank of Stormin' Norman's "hail Mary"..

Btw, here's a great shot of a French personnel carrier being loaded into an AMERICAN C-17, for a mission in Afghanistan.. One more example of a second class power which can't even manage to deploy its military without US assistance.
